We are leaving Finland this morning with so many fond memories that we’ll have forever. So it is with mixed feelings that we board our flight back to Norway.
This time to Tromsø, Norway. 70°N latitude (or pretty close) for you nerds out there. This is the furthest north either of have been – the sun is definitely not setting for us here.

Janelle has organized us a visit to see some seals. The Tromsø Polaria has 8 seals in their pool and once the crowd has been amazed with feeding/training time, we get to go behind the scenes and have a close encounter.

These are such big creatures! These two are about 23 years old and weigh in at almost 300kg! But at the same time they’re so elegant once they’re in the water.

After that we head down the road for 7 hours to our final destination, Laupstad.
