One more day! Yes, one more day and the World Shoto Cup is underway – and the whole reason why we are in Mexico.

My day started with tennis. I got connected with an instructor here who put me through my paces. It’s really amazing how must rust can appear after 5 weeks not being on a court. Hopefully tomorrow goes better!

The girls’ day started with karate. It’s a 15ish minute walk from our hotel to the venue, and today was a seminar for black belts followed by black belt grading.

In the afternoon the four of us head into the center of town to see what there is. Teagan has found a self guided walk along the main boulevard to see all the grand old houses.

We also stop by the local dojo for the Team Canada training. Their building is fantastic with built in – open air ventilation. Jealous that they’re in such a warm climate that they even have trees growing in the building.
