We Found the People and they LOVE Robbie…

On a whim, we bought tickets to the Robbie Williams concert tonight. It is embarrassing to say, but we only really know him from the Graham Norton Show. We knew he is a singer. We knew he is British. We knew he is very popular. We might have thought we knew a song or two. Don’t judge us…I listen to country radio and Jason is…uhm…well…old? LOL. So when we saw that this was the last show of his tour and we had nothing planned for tonight, we thought, “What the hell, let’s do it.”

A near sold out crowd! And every person here (except us) knew every word to every song.

Best decision ever.

Judging by the crowds, we were not the only ones. We found the entire population of Mexico City in the subway. I’ve never seen so many people try to squish into a car before. Guys on the platform were literally pushing people into the car so that the doors would close. Teamwork made the dream work.

Five trains went by before we were able to squeeze ourselves into the car.

Robbie Williams easily placed in the top 5 concerts we’ve ever been to. Maybe even the top 3.

The Mexican crowd is next level in their enthusiasm. It was an honour to be a part of this crowd.

Till we meet again Robbie. Till we meet again.
