Hello Helsinki!

I feel like we have had a lot of travel days lately…but here is another one! A train ride, a couple of quick flights, another train ride and a metro to get from Bergen to Helsinki, Finland.

Happy dance because we get to go flying!

Wow, writing it like that makes it seem like it was so quick. Somehow it took the better part of the day. We were both starving and exhausted when we arrived. Luckily there was food in our future…but not rest.

Haha – I never realized the fun you could have with this…

We started a load of laundry – we were so excited that not only does our place have a washing machine, but we are here for two nights so will have time to let it dry. Woohoo, we can stop smelling. LOL.

Time to explore a small part of Helsinki. I am pretty sure we saw the best part. Bad Bad Boy. The best sculpture we have every seen anywhere, ever.

We are now in an Irish pub (with food!) making friends with Canadian allies as we settle in to watch the World Cup match – Canada vs South Africa.
