A full day in Dubrovnik and an ambitious full-pull schedule for us. Starting with walking the full perimeter of the Wall that has been protecting the city from invaders for centuries.
The advice our tour guide gave us yesterday was to start atop the western section to get the sun at our backs. This also got most of the uphill steps out of the way early. Wow! The views are amazing!!

We also check out the few museums they offer on top of the wall. The Museum of Modern Art, and the Naval Museum. If my father was with us, we’d be here the whole day…so much to see.

As part of the 24-hour Dubrovnik Pass you get a transit pass for the day – however, it turns out Dubrovnik is pretty small and the #8 Bus will show it all to you in under 15 minutes. At least we can also pick up our laundry while we’re out.

As we head back to Old Town we stop for lunch at the restaurant overlooking the Banje Beach. This is when I decide to get my fish & chips. Let’s say I was a little disappointed.

After lunch it’s another museum…and another. I think we’re quickly running out of capacity for museums. We are done with those today.
But we always have time for spectacular views and monasteries. This monastery’s pharmacy has served the community since 1317, and is one of the oldest in Europe.

Plus a couple of bonus locations for those fans of Game of Thrones. Black Water Bay, and where The Fool made his appearance.
