A wet start to the day with drizzle and rain in the forecast. But a mere 55k later we are in Båstad – home of the Swedish tennis open!
Right out of the gate we are in the countryside putting distance behind us. We’re only stopping for bulls and cows today.

Our reward is a genuine Swedish sauna at the famous Hotel Skansen. The home of the Sweden Open. Its courts have hosted such names as McEnroe, Borg, Edberg, Williams, and of course Nadal!

Unfortunately, no tournament for us while we’re here – it doesn’t start till mid-July
But off to the sauna, or what they call a Cold Bath Experience. First you need to bake in the sauna for a good 10-15 minutes then plunge into the open water that’s somewhere around 15°. Stay for as long as you can, then back to the sauna, and repeat, and repeat!

To finish off the evening we’re watching the Men’s Final where Zverev is fighting for his first Grand Slam title.
