We are staying in El Jadida for a couple of nights. And I think one of the nicest riads in the city – plus it has breakfast included.

And boy they know how to feed you. All I did was sit down then everything just started appearing. Pancakes, cheese, yogurt, crepes, bread, cream cheese, jams, syrup, plus an omelette for good measure. Oh, then coffee, juice and tea.
Janelle! Come down – I need your help!

I’m so stuffed.
But the real action today is the second clash between Team USA vs. Team Canada on the ice. This time the men are competing – and this time we’ll win gold! Right?!

What a nail biter. So many chances and we out shot them 2:1. We gave them everything we had but came up short in overtime. An exciting game to watch though.
It’s impressive that we were able to watch them game live. It only took an eSIM, hotspot, VPN to Canada, plus the Gem app. But it worked!
Time to stroll out into town. It’s quite a bit smaller than Casablanca and when we mentioned to our cooking teacher yesterday, she described El Jadida to us as more of an industrialized working town than a touristy one. This must be what visiting Hamilton is like. lol

While on the promenade we couldn’t help notice people gathering at dusk. It turns out that during Ramadan they fire an artillery gun to mark the end of the day and the start of dinner time.
So, we find a restaurant and get us some food.
