Today’s goal is to go see the church up the hill. Seeing how yesterday’s goal was a bust, we are doubly determined to make today a success.
Up and out the door by 9, we hoof it down the hill towards Old Town. Through the city gate and up to the trail head for the church and fortress. The gate keepers tell us that it’ll cost us €15 to pass through and up to the church. Fine! We must have success today – our reward depends on it. (not really, but it sounds better that way)

After climbing over 650 steps we make it! The church? To be honest, it isn’t too much to look at nowadays, it’s best days have come and gone centuries ago.
But the view! Killer!

Before we leave Old Town for the last time, we get stopped in Cat Square to make some friends and maybe even pen pals. Pspspsps

Our reward you ask? It’s now our Spa Day! We’ve been trying to have one of these for several weeks now.
3-hours of Thai massage for each of us. 3-hours of thumbs, fingers, forearms, and the odd foot into our tired and sore muscles. Then before they let us go, we get twisted into human pretzels. Blissful. We maybe a wee sore tomorrow.

All that spa-ing makes a person hungry, so a quick snack while admiring all the money parked in the harbour.
