24 hours later…Denmark!

Denmark, the land of Vikings and $15 beers.

We got dropped off at the Calgary airport this afternoon (thanks Mom & Dad!) for our latest adventure. It seems surreal that we are off once again.

Our connection is in Frankfurt. Frankfurt…an airport terminal that we have a love-hate thing with. Love the connections it has, hate the terminal. It’s so vast, utilitarian, and you wait forever for your bags.

Arriving in Copenhagen is such a stark contrast. The wood floor, with restaurants and lounges everywhere – you wouldn’t mind spending an afternoon here.

But not us! We need our rental car to kick off this 8-week journey. Tonight we are in Roskilde and are out for a bite at Pincho Nation – if you have a chance, do it! Excellent tapas and the staff are fantastic.

Tomorrow we see the big Viking ships.

But that’s another story…
