It’s been a week already, and it’s time to give back my bike. Janelle decided to give hers back too…but swapped it for a shiny & speedy road bike instead! She figures that she can go faster now that the rope has been cut and doesn’t have to wait for me!
We have just enough time to stop for breakfast…well…lunch before we head out onto the big Mediterranean Sea for the afternoon. Not a bad view while we eat! Plus these portions are huge; I ordered the Spanish Breakfast (two eggs, chorizo sausage, fries, two slices of toast), while Janelle got the French Breakfast (a two egg omelet, tomato and two slices of toast)
To wash my breakfast down, I ordered an orange juice. Freshly Squeezed? Yes please! Yup, 7 Euros…I must remember to ask first next time. At least it was delicious.

A quick walk down the marina, past the ads for power boats, sailboats, condos we find our group ready to board the boat for our 3-hour tour…our 3-hour tour. Okay, it was a 4-hour tour but IYKYK.

Our ‘Cruise Director’ gives us a very brief briefing and we are on our way! Blue skies, light winds, a light chop and beverages in hand, what a way to spend the afternoon. We are spending the afternoon with a few folks we’ve met before through the tennis I’ve played before here and in Munich last year. A great bunch, with lots of stories and laughs all afternoon – when we weren’t napping.
At our first stop, Janelle shows off her diving. Everyone shows the proper amount of appreciation and admiration. Ooooo, aaaahhh!

This was a quick stop, and a long one at the same time. A few of us weren’t feeling too great sitting at anchor bobbing up & down, swaying back & forth with the wind, but once we were back underway – all was forgiven as things settled out. I’m not sure why, but heading back always takes longer. Oh well, it gave us more time in the sun enjoying the sights along the way.

As with everything, all good things must come to an end and unlike Gilligan we’re back in Port d’Alcudia. We ditch our friends for the evening as we’ll see them tomorrow at the Rafa Nadal Academy. But as we’re not ready to head back to the hotel to face packing our bags, we find ourselves in Inca eating nachos and playing crib.
For those at home keeping score, yes Janelle won…again…but by only 1 point! 121 – 120, a very close game
