Our favourite way to see a museum or cultural attraction is with a tour guide. If it’s offered, be greedy and try and get one to yourself to personalize the experience.
My favourite tour guide was Matthew when we visited Bran Castle home to Vlad the Impaler – the guy who inspired the character Dracula. Matthew’s enthusiasm and focus on telling stories to our kids kept all of us hooked on every word. He even pulled aside the velvet rope so we could explore the Princess’s bedroom – much to the confusion of others exploring the castle as to why we were allowed and not them. VIP experience!
